Sila and the Afrofunk Experience won the NAACP Image Awards for "Outstanding World Music Album"
After 7 years of hard work and concerts across the country, we were eleted to be nominated for the NAACP Image Awards for out album "Black President." We were also proud to represent the Bay Area Music scene. The Afrofunk Experience member consisted of Mike Pitre who pass in 2011. We miss his humor, chops and frienship dearly.
